This week. . .

Sorry it's been a couple of days since I've been on. I had to work another sounder's game and didn't get home until about midnight. Then yesterday I went to the movies with some friends and then had homework. We went and saw Limitless. I loved it! I thought it was a really, really, great movie and I definitely recommend seeing it. I'd say it's fine for kids thirteen and up. There is one scene that is a little gross but other than that it was just a really great movie. I love Bradley Cooper which just made it even better.

This week I'll be wrapping up my posts on the fashion shows and then posting my jewelry post. Also coming up in the next week or so I will be posting a video of one of my favorite recipes which I was thinking of having you guys vote on.

Short and Sweet

No pictures today. I know, it's been like a month since there has been a post without some picture or another but I'm just posting real quick today. I'm trying to stock pile some posts so that on days when I don't have time to get on here I can just click a button and still submit something.

Also, I would love ideas from you guys if you have any thoughts or anything you would like me to post about. Just send me a comment at the bottom.

Wow, this must be the shortest post I've ever published but I'm feeling pretty brain dead so I'm gonna go jog and maybe that will get some brain cells moving.

Delusional

Okay so, I was an idiot and thought it would be a good idea to review every single show listed from style.com from the Fall 2011 RTW lines. That's not happening. I decided to take a look at how many designers I still had to go through and realized that it would take me until next year to finish them all. So, instead I will be browsing through them and posting only the ones that I really like. Today I'm only going to show one. I'm having several little meltdowns currently and can't bring myself to focus right now.

Anyways, I decided to zip down to the bottom of the list and the very last designer's line I really loved. Here it is:

Z Spoke by Zac Posen
This line was bizarre, exciting, different, and beautiful. I love this line!

I'll make sure to get on tomorrow and post more photos from other lines, or, if nothing else, vent.

Waiting . . .

Okay, so my mother has run off to a meeting today, taking her camera with the pictures of my shoes on it with her, so if she doesn't get home by like seven tonight I'll probably wait to post them tomorrow. I will however get started on working on the shows again. I left off with Barbara Tfank a couple days ago and will therefore be starting with Basso & Brooke:

Basso & Brooke
This line had a lot, a lot, of  color going on. It made it a little difficult to discern the general structure of the garments that these colorful fabrics made up but non the less will definitely be memorable.

BCBG Max Azria
I really liked the flowy fabrics and the bursts of color in this line.

Behnaz Sarafpour
I really liked this line. It was different than a lot of stuff I've been seeing and the format was definitely a change from your usual one after another runway.

Bensoni
I liked the slight vintage charm of this collection and the color palette.

Betsey Johnson
What started out as an intriguing show, took a very bizarre turn. It started out with an almost Cruella DeVille-esq style, which I really liked and all of a sudden turned into an odd sixties prom mesh. I'm not really sure what to think of this line. Below are my favorites from the beginning of the show.

Betty Jackson
This line was fun. I loved how bright the red was and the floral prints as well.

Bibhu Mohapatra
I liked the blue tones that brightened up the fur pieces and metal toned skirts.

Bill Blass
Again with the vivid red. I just really love that color.

Blumarine
This line was just gorgeous. It was beautifully made and put together and I am excited to see more lines from Blumarine.

Bodkin
Since the fabrics were mostly plain beige's, browns, and blacks, I had a hard time focusing on them with the background. I kept looking at the cars and the water rather than the clothing.

Bottega Veneta
I loved how chic this line was. Great fabrics, great colors. Loved it!

Brioni
This line, too, reminded me of Cruella DeVille with spots and fur everywhere! I loved it!

Burberry Prorsum
This line was awesome! The colors were great. The style, the structure, everything.

Alright so I started this post yesterday and I now have pictures of my own shoes! Admittedly they are kind of a step down from the ones yesterday but that is because I don't have thousands and thousands of dollars to spend on a whim. Either way, I think my shoes are still gorgeous and I love, love, love to wear them.

These I bought at Forever 21 for $15.
These are from Style.com.  I don't remember how much they cost. I got them to wear for the fashion show I modeled in last year.

These I got this year for Christmas. Their Jessica Simpson and GORGEOUS!

These I also got at Christmas. They are shoes by Rampage and are so cute!
These are by Fabulosity (obviously) and were $75 I think. I bought them Summer of my freshman year and these were basically the start of my shoe fetish.

These shoes are much more attractive in real life. They are not this orange nor this faded as this picture makes them look. These are also by Fabulosity and were $45, I believe.

These are buckle shoes by Dexter. I was obsessed with these in my sixth grade year (?) and I finally saved up enough money to buy my own pair. These were about $25.

This pair my mother just gave me ( she was weeding out her closet). They are super cute and match this black and pink polka-dot dress I just got perfectly! These are made by Starlet by Star Jones, and I have absolutely no idea how much they cost.

I LOVE these. They are by Baby Phat and my mom bought these for me when we were shopping. She got a very similar pair only they are strappy sandals instead of pumps and the sparkle is more gold than champagne. My mom and I are two peas in a pod which is good and bad for me. She buys me shoes but she also buys even more shoes for herself. This is to be expected and wouldn't be so bad if I didn't want all the same pairs!

These I got for  Christmas last year, and funny enough, my dad picked them out (he knows me so well). They look great on and are very femme fatal. From Rampage.

God! I just love sparkly shoes! These ones, by INC, I also recently got while shopping with my mom. We got them specifically to go with this gold ball gown we bought a month or two ago. If I have time in the next  couple weeks I'll start posting pictures of the dresses I've gotten recently.

As I've said my mom and I are big shoe people. We also don't share well. Therefore we have ended up having several of the same pairs of shoes. This pair of red Worthington's are an example of that. It's extremely stupid of us to spend double the money on the same shoes but this way we can wear them at the same time and not worry about one or the other of us messing them up.
These my mother actually gave to me. They hurt her feet so I got them (YAY!). The only bad thing is, since I'm super tall already, when I wear these (or any of my other heels) I'm like 6 5'. These are from  City Streets.

This is another shoe that my mom and I both have a pair of. The company that produces these, Jacqueline Ferrar, also sells them in silver, which we have been eyeballing for a while.

These are by Poetic License and cost $90 at Nordstroms. My mom has the same pair. I got these for my birthday two years ago and, unfortunately, don't get to wear them as much as I'd like because they're suede and will get destroyed in the rain. They are so uber cute though!

I have several more pairs of heels, and also several pairs of flats, that I've decided not to post because they really do not translate well onto the computer. Several of these boxes do not correspond to the shoes they are under so make sure that you don't mistake a pair from one company for anothers! Hope you liked these.

I realize I've been kind of slacking on the Monday must haves but I think I'll wait to resume those until after I'm done with the Fall lines. Already these posts are getting monstrously long with pictures without adding Monday must-haves as well. Also, in a couple weeks, perhaps over my spring break, I'll draw up a post on jewelry since I haven't really posted about that yet and sometime soon I'll be doing a walk through of a favorite recipe of mine.

I'll begin posting reviews on the fall shows for all designers whose names begin with the letter C, tomorrow.

French word of the day: Orange which is French for, yep, orange.
