Pre-Fall 2012

Hi everyone! I've just gotten back from spending Christmas with my grandparents (which was fantastic!) and due to one, wanting to spend time with everyone and two, their Internet being the slowest thing on the planet, I haven't posted in a couple weeks.

I wanted to post about the Pre-Fall 2012 collections today. There are still lines that aren't yet up on style.com for me to review but here is what I currently have.

Alice + Olivia
This line was very Parisian chic. I loved the fabrics and the beauty and ease with which these ensembles seemed to be put together. As an added bonus all these pieces appear very wearable.

Burberry Prorsum
This line was sexy and sophisticated. I loved the bags and the bow belts especially.

Zac Posen
This line was fantastic! The architectural aspect of the show was awe-inspiring.

Temperley London
I really like the fabrics and the silhouettes of this line. All of the pieces look very wearable, plus the headbands are beautiful.

Rachel Zoe
This line had great structural suits but was softened by floaty silk and satin dresses. I want every one of these pieces in my own closet. I really loved the bags and the mountain-high shoes.

Oscar de la Renta
This line had really beautiful fabrics and great draping.

Monique Lhuillier
There are times when you find pieces that just wow you. As an aspiring designer I think that that search for the perfect piece is what drives many to become designers in the first place. And in this line i think she  found it.

Naeem Khan
There were some gorgeous red carpet-esq gowns in this line and I really enjoyed the polka-dots and the beading.

Jason Wu
I loved all the lace details. This was a very well put together line and I particularly liked the and coats and bags.

Emporio Armani
This pieces were sexy yet business like. They were the kind of pieces that borderline on basics but are too luxe to be considered thus.

Dsquared²
The line was nice but I was most impressed by this fantastic little black dress.

Donna Karen
I love that bows seem to be coming back in. This line was both elegant and sexy and had a sort o f careless flair to it.

Chanel
This line was absolutely fantastic! The colors and the jackets, the bags and the accessories! The quantity of quality was astounding.

Reem Acra
I really liked the structure of the skirts and the inlets of lace.

Badgley Mischalka
This lines was chic and luxurious. The small details are what really made this line.

Hervé Léger by Max Azria
I was impressed by the way that these intense, banded dresses with their heavy duty heels and binding leather straps were still so beautifully feminine. I thought it was very artful and sculptural.

Cushnie et Ochs
There were a lot of hard pieces, but they were all softened by lace and pleats.

Nina Ricci
This line was very romantic and floaty. It was almost sad, it had an air of the damaged woman, but it was very beautiful.

Peter Som
This dress really caught my eye. I loved the color and the structure of the bodice.

I will continue posting as more of the shows come in!
